Image South Founder Norman Bingham

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Image South Fine Art’s founder Norman Bingham. Norm died Norm Binghamat home on Friday, March 23, 2012, after an extended illness.  Norm fought his battle the same way he lived his life, with dignity, courage, strength and grace.

He began his fine art career in the late 1970′s with Atlanta Frame and Moulding Company. Norman quickly secured the S.E. territory for two large west coast art companies, including Winn Devon Art Group, with whom he was affiliated twenty-five years.  He eventually rose to the position of National Sales Manager. Recognizing a need for more southern art, in the late nineteen nineties Norman founded his own company, Image South Fine Art, which represents many of the best artists in the country.

Norman was a loving husband, father and mentor to many of the artists represented by Image South. He was an avid sports fan who loved to travel, spend time with his friends and eat good food. His infectious smile and love of a good joke endeared him to many. As the saying goes, “he never met a stranger”. He will be terribly missed.

It is now our job to continue on and grow what he started fifteen years ago. We look forward to carrying on his legacy and making him proud.

Love You Dad.
